The Leadmill is a legendary institution of Sheffield for many generations, being asked to help them to begin renovations to one of their bars was an opportunity not to be missed. 93 felt it was important to maintain what is so great about the Leadmill and it's history. To retain a sense of industrial rawness that has a nod to the buildings history, from it's strong brick walls through to the iconic red neon light that runs up the buildings facade. With the use of raw steels, dark solid timbers and formed concrete, a new bar was created. All custom built by local Sheffield trades and 93's in-house manufacturing team. The new materials of steel and concrete contrast the reclaimed timbers, painted original brickwork, an exposed timber braced ceiling, all interjected with bold colours.
