We place a lot of emphasis on presenting bespoke turnkey designs which push us past 'the ordinary' to an interior design service that incorporates brand to achieve interiors that give our clients the platform they need to develop and improve their business in commercial, retail, leisure and hospitality environments.
We work with a great range of clients with varying budgets and time-scales all over the UK and into Europe. Our clients are willing to use interior design as a way to improve their business prospects and to elevate their brand to a level which reflects the product or environment they sell or the ethos in which they run their day to day.
We apply our interior architecture methods to any situation or space. We call it the journey. We work using our own tried and tested methodology including site surveys, presentation of initial interior concepts, interior refinement, specification and tender, project management right through to final delivery and handover.
Visuals of a new proposed interior scheme is a great way to share the visions and imagination of all involved and they are also excellent to help sell the dream of a project in advance of its build. Working with an array of software programs and an artistic license, we can produce knock out interior renders ahead of it becoming a reality.
An important part of our design ethos is the use of high quality materials. Whether the interior incorporates reclaim and salvage which have been rescued or restored, to more modern materials and furnishing our team are dedicated to delivering the job on time and within budget. Getting the desired result is important to us all.
Laundry for hair was a project that took over 18 months in planning, sourcing, specification, build and eventual opening of the doors for the first day of trade. Laundry won Best New Salon in the UK by Creativehead only a few months after opening in November 2013.
Working closely with head of Laundry, Mitch Wilson, we drew up an interior and brand brief that ensured the Laundry concept had everything they would need for opening now, as well as capacity for future growth as more stylists and staff join the Laundry team.
As soon as the brief is signed off and drawings and plans are underway we move quickly to produce a series of dynamic interior visuals. These help to ensure the concept is more fully understood pre-build between all involved.
Working drawings are established and drawing revisions set about. Working with our own fit out teams we handed over final drawing packages for pricing and scheduling. Working to a tight schedule we developed the interior from concept to completion.
Fixtures and fitting are just as critical as designing the initial outline of the space. We sourced from all over the UK and into Europe key pieces to achieve the look. We also worked with our own fabrication team to deliver custom components varying from tables to light fittings.
We're really proud of how Laundry looks. Every part of the space has been built by hand with honest fabrics, rescued woods, polished concrete, luxurious leather, exposed brick and iron work. It was time to think differently about hairdressing and that's what we delivered.
It's one thing to design the perfect interior, it's another to build and experience it realised. We have access to hundreds of highly specialised material partners, along with a private reserve of architectural and salvage antiques. Combining a traditional approach with material innovation is what sets the spaces we create apart.
A new interior often means closing – and the inevitable loss of trading time. We not only design bespoke but directly project manage to ensure our clients open as fast as possible but with exceptionally high standard results. Our interior photographers are also expertly trained to capture your new space on camera.
