Project Information

Co-founded by Elton John, Rocket Sports works alongside athletes, brands and rights holders to navigate the commercial side of sport. With a diverse client base and broad service offering, it was essential the Rocket Sports’ website prioritised clarity while capturing the thrill of sport.

Clarifying services

Simplicity of design was key to the website’s success, and our digital team reimagined the layout and website flow to ensure visitors could immediately understand the purpose of the organisation.

On the homepage, each of the four main services appears prominently under a scrolling deck that moves as the page does to make navigation easy and aesthetically pleasing. The function of each service is reiterated on the individual service pages where relevant blog posts are linked and listed. 

Dynamic visuals

Rocket Sports already had an extensive library of excellent professional photography and video footage of their athletes in action, so space was made within the design for the visuals to tell the brand’s story. 

To encapsulate the exciting, dynamic nature of sport, moving features were added. Video content sits front and centre on the homepage, while subtle animations – such as image scaling, text underlining and scrolling banners – enhance the browsing experience. 

Showcasing impact

In order to demonstrate the wide-reaching impact of Rocket Sports, global partners are prominently displayed, alongside impactful stats and quotes from Elton John and world-famous sports stars and Olympians.  

A consistent “Let’s connect” footer was added to every page to keep directing interested parties to get in contact, resulting in a final website that is inspiring and functional.
