We're looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our design studio in Sheffield.

About us

We're a successful and established design studio based in Sheffield that has grown organically since 2005.

Our team is made up of 15 creatives, specialising in interior design and architecture, brand and digital. By joining us you'll experience a variety of projects and creative opportunities from commercial residential, hotels and hospitality, retail, events venues, work spaces and more. We're an exciting place to work with our studio housed within a building called The Mowbray, a former steel and iron merchants built in 1889. Our studio includes a kitchen, coffee machine, rooftop terrace, meeting rooms and breakout spaces.

Our neighbourhood - Kelham Island, was rated as one of the 'coolest neighbourhoods in the UK' by Time Out magazine and includes a mix of independent bakeries, breweries, coffee shops, restaurants and bars all within a short walking distance of our studio.

The opportunity

You're going to join a team consisting of architects, interior designers, production / manufacturing and visualisers. You will influence the future direction of the interior architecture department and with the team's support develop your career.

Work closely with our interior architecture team to conceptualise and develop creative ideas together. You will deliver immersive brand interior experiences for our clients. You'll oversee your designs go from concept to completion by working alongside our dedicated production and manufacturing asset to ensure your concept not only meets your clients expectations but also your original vision.

You will probably come to us with amazing contacts that you have built up throughout your career, but when you join us you will get exposure to our network of specialist makers which include bespoke neon artists, CNC and 3D printers and industrial reclamation. Support the team in developing new and existing supplier relationships, generating knowledge and awareness of new materials and construction methods.

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a commercial Senior Interior Designer evidenced by your portfolio
  • Have a keen interest and passion for all aspects of design
  • Client facing management and creating compelling presentations
  • Visual rendering experience
  • Knowledge and use of Adobe Suite

Complementary skills

  • Create complete drawing packs to a high standard, ready for tender and construction
  • High level of experience in Vectorworks - both 2D and 3D
  • AutoCAD and SketchUp knowledge would be strong secondary assets, but not essential


  • 93 is transitioning to be an Employee Owned company (EOT), meaning you'll automatically be part of the employee ownership trust
  • Salary £45,000 + pa with performance based bonuses
  • Eligible to join our company pension scheme - contributions are the standard 5% Employee Contribution, 3% Employer Contribution
  • 21 days holiday pa plus Bank Holidays. After 3 years you will be entitled to an extra days holiday per year up to a maximum of 4 additional days
  • Flexibility to work remotely for part of the working week, open to discuss
